Extreme Tumbling Training Center is a 10,000 square foot heated facility created especially for beginner and advanced tumblers to have a space that is all their own without the distractions of the artistic gymnastic apparatus. It used to be that if you wanted to tumble in a gym environment, you had to join a gymnastics class and complete skills on the bars, beam and vault just to receive floor time. Our facility is designed to meet the needs of athletes who just love to flip. We have a 42' x 42' competition cheer floor, a 84' dynamic tumbling rod floor, a 40' tumble trac trampoline, a 20' inflatable tumbling trac, a 14' x 14' loose foam pit for practicing skills safely, and new spring floor tumbling strips. For our trampoline athletes we have two 7' x 14' Aussie competition trampolines, two Euro double mini tramps, and an overhead spotting rig for multiple twisting and double somersaults. We also have a rock climbing wall, bounce house, preschool bar, preschool beam and many fundamental shaped tumbling mats for training backhandsprings, and backtucks. Preschool cheerleaders use our pom poms, balance disc and other items to assist with their learning.
For parents we have and upstairs and downstairs viewing area, a playarea for siblings who are waiting (complete with toys, TV/VCR, & tables), a snack machine, and drink choices such as water and Gatorade. The upstairs viewing area allows parents to view all of our gym activities at the same time, complete with plug ins for your lap top, comfortable chairs, tables for homework or drawing, a TV/VCR with movie selections, a playhouse, coloring items, reading material, and a foosball table for your children to enjoy.
If you decide to leave your athlete at practice, there are many things just around the corner, such as Super Wal-Mart, many fast food restaurants and sit down dining options, the YMCA, Ft. Yargo Park, the Winder parks & recreation department, and an Ace Hardware to name a few.
