Program Description

We offer tumbling classes for ages 14 months to adult. Toddler and beginner tumbling
classes increase coordination, strength, and flexibility while performing tumbling
moves on fundamental matting. Young athletes will also practice listening &
memorization skills, skill recognition, body awareness and body control. Youth
athletes with knowledge of the fundamentals will begin working backhandsprings,
backtucks, and other tumbling and somersaulting skills. During each class, athletes
will practice skill building drills, work on the proper execution of skills already learned
and practice new skills in order to set new goals. Our class ratio for preschool classes
is 5:1 and for our school age classes is 8:1.

We will evaluate students twice per year to communicate progress with parents, and
athletes receive ribbon awards & their completed skill sheet to take home for display.
Also, in May of each year, we will celebrate each athlete and their progress during a
performance held at our gym. Classes will begin to practice tumbling routines during
March and continue until the performance, where athlete will be allowed to show off for
parents, family and friends. Each athlete that performs during our end of the year
show will receive a trophy listing their name, event date, and current level!
